Mary Gordon, Chair, is the Founder/President, and inspiration behind Roots of Empathy. She is recognized internationally as an award-winning social entrepreneur, educator, author, and child advocate. She is a member of the Order of Canada, the Order of Ontario and the Order of Newfoundland and Labrador. She is the recipient of Queen Elizabeth II Golden Jubilee Medal, the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal, and the Governor General of Canada Innovation Award.
Ashley Prime, Trustee is the former Managing Director of Navigator Ltd. UK, and a senior British diplomat, both in the UK government and in the private sector in London and overseas. Mr. Prime is a key advocate, helping us to build relationships in the UK to support our growth.
Graham Allen, Trustee, is former Nottingham MP, is a UK advocate for early intervention, the recipient of the Lifetime Achievement award from the Centre for Social Justice and founder of the Early Intervention Foundation and Rebalancing the Outer Estates Foundation.
Glenys is an Emeritus Governor of the LSE and Hon Doctor of Social Science at University of Bradford. She became the Lords Health minister and Equalities minister in 2008, Shadow Health minister from 2010 – 2013, and DCMS and Equalities shadow minister from 2013 – 15. In 2015, she became the CEO of the Young Foundation and then she returned to the Lords to be Shadow Health Minister.
Liz Gregory, Trustee, is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist with over twenty years’ experience working with Child and Family services in the NHS. Dr. Gregory’s focus is on prevention, early intervention and halting the medicalisation of understandable distress in children.
Dyer is an author, journalist, filmmaker, lecturer of international affairs and historian.
Perry is Senior Fellow at The Child Trauma Academy in Houston, Texas and an author, lecturer and researcher.
